• Friday night get-together at the Manchaca Fire Hall.  Classmate David Vogel has graciously agreed to host us, Jeff Shepperd has lined up a band (Rare Dog), there's a big concrete dance floor, cold beer, plenty of parking.. what else do you need to know? The dress is casual/comfortable; plan on it being.. warm! We will take a panoramic group shot of class members at this event, and that happens at 8 p.m. - don't miss it!  Some more details: this is a kid- and family-friendly environment, so it's up to you as to who is included in your entourage.. spot-check on Fire Hall pricing: beer - $2.50, soft drinks/tea/lemonade - $1, all-you-can-eat fish with all the trimmings - $10.95  Tickets: $10 per person at the door.

• Saturday golf tournament at Jimmy Clay in South Austin.  Another Jeff Shepperd production, and it includes contests for longest drive, closest to the pin, and things like mulligans, skins, sweet event hostesses, bootleg beverages - it's crazy! Your participation fee includes your round of golf and use of a cart, and let Jeff know if you're coming so that he can get you into a foursome.   Tickets: $40 per golfer, but you need to sign up with Jeff by Sunday, June 15th. Drop him an email (link below) if you're interested..

• Saturday Picnic and Crockett Tour.  Classmate Mary Beth (Barber) Kelley has singlehandedly worked out the details of getting us a tour of the school, and then we will head over to Garrison Park and picnic, throw the frisbee, and visit.  The tour starts at 11 am; plan on arriving at Garrison at 10:45 to be sure and find a place to park, get situated, and then look for the Class of '78 banner!  When the tour ends, it's time to eat!  We will provide tables, chairs, and drinks, and you are encouraged to bring your own lunch and a dessert to share!  (This is another opportunity to bring the kids/family/friends.)  Tickets: free, but let us know how many are coming so that we can have enough chairs.. thanks!

• Saturday night at Cool River Cafe.  Includes wrap-up activities, displays, awards, and more visiting! Appetizers and desserts will be available, so we encourage you to grab dinner with some friends and then head to Cool River for the big finale!  Tickets: $25 per person at the door.
